Terms and Conditions – Motorcycle Rental

By renting a motorcycle from Lako Rental Labuan bajo, the renter acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Renter Requirements

• Minimum age is 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid motorcycle driving license (SIM C or equivalent).
• Must provide a valid ID card or passport as collateral.
• The renter agrees to be photographed together with the provided documents for administrative purposes.

2. Vehicle Use

• The motorcycle may only be used by the registered renter.
• Sub-renting, lending, or transferring the vehicle to a third party is strictly prohibited.
• The motorcycle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, off-road riding, or any unlawful purposes.
• The renter must comply with all traffic regulations in Indonesia.

3. Rental Fees & Payment

• Rental rates are based on the agreed price at the time of booking.
• Full payment must be made in advance (cash/bank transfer).
• Late returns will incur additional charges according to company policy.

4. Fuel & Accessories

• The motorcycle is provided with sufficient fuel; renters must return it with at least the same fuel level.
• Accessories such as helmets and raincoats must be returned in good condition.
• Loss or damage of accessories will be charged accordingly.

5. Renter’s Responsibility

• The renter must take good care of the motorcycle during the rental period.
• The renter is fully responsible for any damage or loss of the motorcycle.
• Repair costs due to negligence or misuse are borne by the renter.
• In case of theft or total loss, the renter must compensate based on the vehicle’s value or as agreed with the rental company.

6. Accidents & Insurance

• The renter is fully responsible for any accidents that occur during the rental period.
• All medical expenses, repair costs, and legal claims resulting from accidents are the renter’s responsibility.
• If insurance coverage is available, claims will be processed according to the insurance policy terms.

7. Return of the Motorcycle

• The motorcycle must be returned at the agreed time.
• Late return will be subject to an extra charge.
• The motorcycle must be returned clean, complete, and in the same condition as received.

8. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations after booking confirmation are subject to an administrative fee.
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours before rental time) will result in forfeiture of any prepaid rental fees.

9. Force Majeure

• The rental company is not responsible for losses caused by natural disasters, riots, or events beyond its control.

10. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
• Any disputes will be settled amicably, or through legal proceedings if necessary.
